The Satkhira Computer Association officially held the responsibility handover and reception ceremony for its newly formed 2026–2028 Executive Committee on Saturday, May 9.
The event took place at Al Baraka Community Center in Satkhira town. Computer business owners, technology entrepreneurs, and representatives from various IT and technology companies were present at the event.
Official Responsibility Handover
During the program, Convener Khurshid Masum and Member Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman Munna formally handed over responsibilities to the newly elected committee members.
Later, guests and representatives welcomed the new leaders with floral greetings and congratulated them on their new responsibilities.
Newly Elected Executive Committee
Hafiz Al Asad Sannu was elected President of the committee. Afiul Rahman Power and Khurshid Masum took charge as Vice Presidents. Imran Khan became the General Secretary, while Masud Raju and Tarikul Islam were appointed Joint General Secretaries.

- Md. Faruk Hossain – Office Secretary
- Amzad Hossain Saddam – Publicity and Publication Secretary

- Sukdeb Kumar Biswas – Cultural Affairs Secretary
Executive members are Abdus Sattar, Md. Hafizur Rahman Khokon, Indrajit, and Mir Shahriar Topu.

Representatives from Leading Technology Companies Attend
Representatives from several well-known technology and computer accessory companies joined the ceremony. These companies included Smart Technologies, Global Brand, Excel, EasyBiz Brand, South Bangla Limited, Eastern IT, Distribution Hub, Computer City, and Shams Group.
They congratulated the new committee and wished them success in their future activities.
Focus on Unity and Technology Development
Speakers at the event highlighted the importance of unity among computer business owners in today’s technology-driven market. They said the association can play an important role in improving business standards, enhancing customer service, and creating opportunities for new entrepreneurs in the technology sector.
The newly elected committee members also shared their future plans. They said they would work together to build a stronger, more modern, and business-friendly technology environment in Satkhira.
In addition, they emphasized fair business practices, technology training, digital service improvement, and market expansion. They also expressed hope that unity and cooperation among members would help create new opportunities for young entrepreneurs in the district.
